Following the success of the 2011 show, it can be announced that the Cloud Computing World Forum Latin America will be returning to Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 22 and 23rd August 2012.
The two day event, to be held at the WTC Sheraton, will be attended by over 500 of Latin America’s top business leaders, and will provide an insight into the development of cloud computing in the region and a focus on future technology trends.
Brazil is currently regarded as one of cloud computing’s top emerging markets, with global consultants IDC estimating that 41.6% of organisations in the region are considering using the new technology, compared to just 14.5% a year ago.
Such growth has led to a number of high-profile organisations, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), opening new data centres in the region to cater for new technological demands.
With this in mind, the Cloud Computing World Forum Latin America 2012 will feature a two day conference and one day free-to-attend exhibition and workshop program, with the aim of alleviating concerns related to cloud implementation in the region and helping businesses to understand how they can adopt cloud computing services.
Over 40 expert speakers will feature on the conference agenda, with last year’s agenda including speakers from leading global companies such as Microsoft, Google, and Huawei. Sponsors of the event included NEC, Tecla, Huawei and OnApp.
To view last years’ agenda and speakers list please visit the website and download the 2011 event brochure.
This event will be bilingual catering for both Portuguese and English (Portuguese website available shortly).
