David heads up D2C, a consulting firm which provides social business and cloud consulting on solutions for content, collaboration, web publishing, online accounting and ERP.  He is Chair of the UK's Intellect Software as a Service Group, a director of EuroCloud UK, on the governance board of the Cloud Industry Forum, and a regular speaker at social media, social business and Cloud Computing events including chairing London's Cloud Computing World Forum in 2009, 2010 and 2011.  David organizes London Wiki Wednesdays, was one of the founders of CreativeCoffee Club and was part of the team that started Amplified (the Network of Networks).

 

He comes from a background of over 30 years operating in the trenches of the software business, having started in IBM and then worked in management and director roles for companies like , Interactive, Brook Street Computers, DataWorks, Indus and CODA.  Although his history is rooted in traditional enterprise systems he is passionate about the intersection of cloud computing, mobile technology and social media, how these tools can be deployed to make business more effective, and the way these trends are changing the world of work.
