After his apprenticeship as a specialist for system integration he studied computer engineering at the Hochschule Bremen (Dipl,-Informatiker (FH)) followed by a part-tme M.Sc. study at the FHDQ Paderborn (M.Sc. in IT-Management and Informartion Systems).
