Best Cloud Platform

The "Best Cloud Platform" category is for entrants defined as a cloud platform (PaaS) which delivers a computing platform and/or solution stack as a service, generally consuming cloud infrastructure and supporting cloud applications.

Platform as a Service (PaaS) is widely regarded as cloud computing's flagship, allowing developers a space in which to work from while placing the most complex of infrastructure issues into the hands of the cloud service provider.

In 2011, our judging panel awarded the Best Cloud Platform Award to CA Technologies:

“This award validates the CA AppLogic platform’s ability to provide  service providers and enterprises with a powerful yet simple way to immediately deploy new or existing applications to private and public clouds,” said Roger Pilc, general manager, Virtualization and Automation, CA Technologies on receiving the award.

“The solution also helps companies rapidly build their cloud services businesses and to grow their margins.”
